Praise received:
"Mercedes’ poetry ... is a topography of emotions and personal experiences. Her poetic voice captivates and wraps us with irony and reflexion. Her images are colloquial and evocative. Her poems last and reach unexpected level of awareness. They are born to be listened to." ~Juan Morillo Ganoza, Peruvian Novelist
"Mercedes’ collection of poems ... delight and surprise our inner children but also tell stories that strike deep truths. 'Balloons' and 'The Visit' leave me imagining the leash of a balloon and crashed grapes in my palm in a way I didn’t expect." ~Dr. Norelyn Parker, California Poet
